Spray Park Benefits

Not only are splash pads a lot of fun, but they also foster physical development, provide sensory stimulation through tactile interactions with water sprayers, streams, and jets.  Spray parks have been gaining popularity across the world because of the simplicity of operation.  Lifeguards are not required at most spray parks, and in many cases, a spray park will run all summer with minimal oversight by parks staff.  Our spray park features are built to withstand use in a public, unsupervised setting.

Our Process - Building a Spray Park

We have built many spray parks across Saskatchewan. The consumption and discharge of water can vary greatly depending on the design of the spray park, the selection of spray park features and the water management system installed.  We have found an on-site meeting before or during the design phase is very beneficial for our customers to understand what is required to build and operate a spray park.  It also helps us develop a budget/cost for the project. The total cost of a spray park can vary greatly and heavily depends on site-specific conditions.  Factor such as distance to services (power, water, sewer), pipeline capacity, water management requirements, ect.  While many  of these factors can easily be determined in a site visit, an engineer may be required to determine that existing infrastructure won’t be negatively impacted by the addition of a spray park.

Did you know…

1 Stop Playgrounds has been delivering recreation solutions to Saskatchewan communities since 2010.

We are based in Humboldt, Saskatchewan and have hundreds of projects, from Coronach in the south to Fond Du Lac in the North. We help build strong communities by providing Canadian-made playground equipment, spray park equipment, and sports and arena systems.

We build more than playgrounds and spray parks; we help Saskatchewan communities build legacies.  We have many projects, from small playground structures to turnkey recreational use areas that include gazebos, benches, tables, an accessible playground area, a spray park, and landscaping.

All of our project are completed by our in-house staff who have years of experience building playgrounds, spray parks and other recreational amenities such as basketball, tennis and pickleball courts as well as skate parks and outdoor rinks.

Safety is at the heart of what we do.  Our playground designs are made for all ages/levels of development, and we can accommodate users from toddlers to aging adults.  Our playground equipment and spray park equipment can stand up to harsh conditions; they are designed to be vandal-resistant.  Our commercial playground is put through third-party testing to ensure compliance.

Our installing supervisors are CPSI Certified Inspectors, certified to inspect playgrounds and playground equipment for compliance with the CSA playground standard.
