Everybody’s Playground

Everybody's Playground

Preeceville, Saskatchewan

Sometimes it only takes one person to make a big difference. Kim Sandager, mother of son Ian Sandager who was diagnosed at birth with arthro-gryposis, a rare congenital disorder marked by under-developed joints, is that one person. She dreamed of a playground at her son’s school that included everyBODY and made those dreams into a reality. With lots of handwork she and her committee fundraised the difference of cost to ensure that no matter what, all children can play together at recess. Warrior Mom, Warrior Son.
