Saskatchewan’s School Playground Equipment Grant: How Your School Can Benefit in 2026 - 1

The Government of Saskatchewan’s School Playground Equipment Grant is reshaping how schools across the province build safe, inclusive, and modern outdoor play spaces. With up to $50,000 in matching funds available, this grant program supports the creation and enhancement of playgrounds that promote active living, child development, and community connection.

A Strong Provincial Commitment to Outdoor Play

Saskatchewan is investing $3.75 million annually over four years to enhance outdoor play environments. This longterm funding ensures that school community councils and parent volunteers have reliable support for largescale playground projects.

The program, delivered in partnership with the Saskatchewan Parks and Recreation Association (SPRA), emphasizes accessibility, safety, and community benefit. Playgrounds provide opportunities for children to develop physical literacy, social skills, and confidence—all essential components of healthy childhood development.

This allows us to maintain consistent quality, accurate scheduling, and direct accountability on every project. Our turnkey, in-house approach is especially important in Saskatchewan, where short construction seasons and weather conditions require efficient, well-coordinated execution.

Safety is integrated into every stage of our process. All playground and spray park projects are designed and installed to meet or exceed Canadian safety standards, including CSA guidelines. Our experienced crews follow strict installation procedures, proper surfacing practices, and manufacturer specifications to ensure safe, durable play environments suitable for public use in Saskatchewan communities.
